5 Days 21 Seats Workshop

Krabbesholm Højskole, Skive, DK, 2012

Seating furniture from prefabricated materials from the local hardware stores in Skive.

The students was allowed to use any materials available in a hardware store. Besides the ”raw” materials no styling was allowed; no paint, no ornamentation.

The workshop was an investigation into the potential in cheap easy available materials.

The duration of the workshop was five days.

8x8x3,5 Lounge

Roskilde Festival, Roskilde, DK, 2011

In spring 2011 Skive Fagforening was invited to design and build a lounge area in the Media Zone at Roskilde Festival.

The lounge was built with cheap, raw materials such as wood, nylon and steel.

The choice of materials emphasizes the transparency of the production. Inspired by functionalism, every part of the construction is necessary, and nothing is superfluous.

Rezet Boxes

Rezet Sneaker Store, Copenhagen, DK, 2011

In April 2011 we designed four boxes to display shoes and other goods for Rezet Store in Copenhagen. Additionally the boxes can also be used as seating for events in the store.

They are made so they can be moved around easily and arranged in many different ways. The levels on the different boxes are made in standardized heights so they will fit nicely together in all various combinations.

20 Chair in Wood Workshop

Krabbesholm Højskole, Skive, DK, 2011

IIn February 2011 we was invited back to Krabbesholm to do another workshop.

We made a brief where the students had to work in pairs to design and produce two chairs or stools per group.

The rules set for the students, was that they were only allowed to use prefabricated wood from the local DIY centre. The wood could be beams, rods, plywood, OSB and MDF.

5x4x3 Lounge

Trailerpark Festival, Copenhagen, DK, 2010

In the designated area by the bar, we created a 5 x 4 x 3 (WxLxH) cubic construction, made for people to climb, sit and dance in. During the evening it was lit up, by colored lights.

Palletworkshop

Krabbesholm Højskole, Skive, DK, 2009

I20 students at Krabbesholm Højskole were given the task to convert a euro pallet into a seating device.

7 of the chairs were selected to be displayed, at the conceptual store This Issue in Copenhagen.
